What we collect

We collect only such Data as is necessary to provide you with the best possible service.

If you agree to it via the pop-up Cookies Acknowledgement button, we use Cookies to collect statistics about how you use our site eg which webpages you visited and for how long. None of the Cookies set by the Web Site jeopardise your privacy in any way and no personal data is collected. We collect statistics about your use of our website via Cookies to enable us to refine our service offering eg by removing pages which are rarely visited and adding further detail to pages which are more frequently visited by users.

If you contact us we will collect your name and contact details including your postal address, email address and contact telephone number.

If you subscribe to our mailing list we will collect your name and email address - you will be able to unsubscribe on any email we send you.

If you make a booking with us we will collect Data necessary to confirm the details of your booking, including number, name and age of all guests. We may contact you following your stay via TripAdvisor and send you our Christmas newsletter by post - we only send this to the last 200 guests who have booked to stay at Okel Tor, unless you specifically request not to receive it, so you will automatically be removed from our postal mailing list unless you rebook.

Written comments left in the cottage visitors books may be transcribed onto our website. We will seek your permission if we wish to use the comments elsewhere.
